How long has Ruthless Fight Company existed?
We have been registered with the Chamber of Commerce since 2016. Before that it was the hobby of Amir and Stefan for years: a few men on a mat, which grew into what it is now.
Ruthless Fight Company has been the MMA gym of Rotterdam since 2016. At Ruthless we train seven disciplines under one roof: MMA, striking (kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, grappling, wrestling, heavy bag training and strength and conditioning.
Our coaches do not know the sport from theory alone: they have fought themselves, won world titles in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, lived through championships in the cage and stood in the corner as a cutman.
You notice that experience in every training session: technically strong, sharply guided and tuned to your level. Whether you come for a free trial class or train for your next fight.
Ten permanent coaches, all with a competition background of their own.
Coach Amir is an all round Mixed Martial Arts expert. His sharp analytical eye for talent sets the high standards he maintains. As head of our professional fight team, Coach Amir enjoys every detail of the hard MMA world we move in. His dedication and passion for his Ruthless team are crucial factors in the success of Ruthless Fight Company.
Coach Leandro, five time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champion in ONE Championship, is not only a BJJ black belt but has also developed into a complete martial artist. Under the guidance of the renowned coach Wendell Alexander he earned his black belt and refined a wide range of MMA and striking skills. In 2008 he made his professional cage debut and built an impressive international record. Leandro is a fantastic addition to the Ruthless team.
Alongside his active professional fighting career, Coach Leandro focuses at Ruthless on BJJ and grappling classes for youth and adults. He is also a real source of inspiration for our amateur and professional MMA fighters. His presence during training sessions lifts the level for every athlete with big ambitions. Coach Harrold has been part of the Ruthless team since it was founded. He started as a beginner with a background in judo and karate. Harrold is an experienced BJJ competitor and plays an important role in supporting both the BJJ and the MMA classes, particularly for our Ruthless kids. View the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes

Angelo started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at BJJ Delft in June 2015 and soon made it his work: since then he has been training, fighting and teaching full time. In October 2024 he earned his black belt.
He competes in tournaments in the Netherlands and abroad, with medals at the IBJJF, AJP, AGF, Grappling Industries and the Dutch championships among others. Since 2026 he has been on the mat at Ruthless, for BJJ and grappling. View the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes
Moein has been wrestling for over thirty years, thirteen of them at competition level in Germany. He has seen the sport from every side: as a competitive wrestler, as a trainer and as a coach.
He uses those years to take wrestlers further physically and mentally. At Ruthless he teaches wrestling, strength and conditioning and heavy bag training. View the wrestling classes
Ehsan started gymnastics at six and learned karate from his father. At fifteen wrestling was added. In Iran he won more than ten national titles in Kyokushin karate, and he became European and Asian champion up to 80 kilos at senior level. At the world championships in that same class he finished second. In professional kickboxing he stands at three wins and one loss, and he fought bouts in amateur and professional MMA, including at LFL and GMC.
He graduated in physical education and sports science. At Ruthless he teaches strength and conditioning and heavy bag training, and these days he fights MMA bouts himself under the gym’s name. View the strength and conditioning classes
Afshin started wrestling young and moved to MMA at eighteen. He has been doing that at a high level for over ten years now, with experience on the professional circuit. That wrestling background led him to specialise in the point where the two meet: takedowns, control, ground work, and how you actually use wrestling in an MMA fight.
As a coach he works with beginners and advanced students on technique, conditioning, strength and confidence. At Ruthless he teaches wrestling and MMA, and he fights bouts himself under the gym’s name. View the MMA classes
At Ruthless Fight Company you train at your own level, with room to grow. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or working towards competition and the professional circuit: you get the guidance and attention that suit your experience and ambition. One membership gives you access to every discipline. That way you can combine standing work, wrestling and ground work, or switch depending on what you want to work on and what you feel like that day.
You will find our gym at Vijverhofstraat 47 in Rotterdam North. There are separate changing rooms for men and women, both with showers. Bring flip flops as well: on the mat we train barefoot and before every class everyone has to walk through the foot bath. There are no lockers, so take your things into the gym with you and leave valuables at home.
Coming by car? You can park on the street. Bear in mind that paid parking runs until 23:00, even if you come to train in the evening. You will find the street rate in your parking app.
All classes are included in one membership. You do not have to choose in advance and you can always switch.
